Informal estimates for the Project are slightly under $650,000 excluding taxes, which includes two allowances for site preparation and a contribution to permanent Washroom/Changeroom facilities on adjacent lands.
The fundraising goals are as follows: Family of Rotary = $250,000 Grants = $300,000 [Provincial, Federal] Donors = $200,000 [Businesses, Organizations, Individuals > $5K or more over 1 or 2 years] General Donations = $10,000 [Businesses, Organizations, Individuals > under $5K over 1 or 2 years] TOTAL = $760,000
How You Can Help Support the Splash Pad Project in the amount that works for you, or your organization.
Donor Opportunity Businesses, organizations and individuals that donate $5,000 ( or more) will be recognized through a variety of ways, including on the Donor Recognition Board to be erected at the site and on the website. Donations can be split over 2 years (2019, 2020). The donation of securities (stocks, mutual funds, bonds, etc.) are also acceptable; and will allow the selling price of those securities to qualify for a charitable tax receipt without having to contend with the tax implications of a capital gain. Please consult your Financial Advisor for more information.
