Closed for the season
The Family of Rotary’s Splash Pad closed for the season on September 7th to allow for the construction of the second phase of the facility to be completed.

The work includes installation of sun shelters, picnic tables, additional benches, two outdoor park musical instruments and signage.

The Rotary Clubs of North Bay and North Bay-Nipissing hope you and your family and friends enjoy this fully accessible facility for "Kids from 2 to 102", which features 3 zones for -toddlers, family and children/youth.
Phase II work is currently underway and will include the installation of sun shelters, picnic tables, additional benches, washroom/changeroom mural and the completion of the landscaping by the end of September, 2020.

The Splash Pad is located directly behind the Discovery North Bay Museum (100 Ferguson Street), next to the City Bus Terminal and only a 5-minute walk from the Lake Nipissing waterfront via the Waterfront Pedestrian Underpass.

  • Buy A Bench Campaign = $10,500.00
  • Grants:
    • $150,000.00 FedNor (Canada)
    • $150,000.00 Northern Ontario Heritage Fund (Ontario)
  • City of North Bay:
    • ​$80,850 (Capital)
    • In-kind - staff support, project management, purchase/contribution of several Phase II amenities
    • Ongoing maintenance and operation
